Has your dentist been recommending braces? Do noticeable gaps impair your smile, such as crowded or crooked teeth or a misaligned bite? Even if it’s clear you need braces, the idea of a traditional teeth straightening procedure is scary. Unsightly brackets overcrowd your mouth, overwhelming cleaning and maintenance routines, and months (if not years) of painful, uncomfortable wire tension on your teeth.
At Smileology, our advanced adult orthodontics team has the perfect solution: Invisalign® Clear Braces. Engineered from a rigid yet completely invisible composite material, Invisalign clear aligners offer a faster and more discreet alternative to straightening your smile. And since they’re removed daily for maintenance and eating, a corrective treatment with Invisalign means you can continue enjoying your favorite foods and carry out routine brushing and flossing habits.
The advantages of Invisalign®️ Clear Braces go far beyond simply achieving straight teeth. If you suffer from overcrowded or misaligned teeth, performing simple maintenance and cleaning tasks is often difficult. This commonly leads to the buildup of dangerous amounts of plaque and tartar in hard-to-reach areas, leading to gum disease and other serious health complications down the road.
An untreated misalignment in the teeth can produce tremendous amounts of stress and tension on the jaw, which can cause painful temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), as well as severe headaches and other health concerns. With an Invisalign treatment at one of our offices in Niceville, Miramar Beach/Destin, or Crestview, FL, straight teeth are often achieved in a matter of a few short months – allowing for better access to brushing and flossing, reduced risk for gum disease, and a brighter outlook for long-term oral health.
On your initial visit, the Smileology adult orthodontics team will examine your bite to determine if invisible aligners are an appropriate treatment option.
As one of northwest Florida’s first practices to adopt Invisalign clear aligners, we have perfected the process when it comes to this effective yet discreet straightening technology. On your initial visit, the Smileology team will examine your bite to determine if invisible aligners are an appropriate treatment option. If you are deemed a candidate for Invisalign, we’ll take a digital impression of your bite, which will be used to custom-make your first set of clear aligners.
These will be worn for 20 to 22 hours daily, removed only to eat and perform routine maintenance (brushing and flossing). Depending on the severity of your misalignment, multiple sets of clear aligners may need to be worn over several months to achieve a perfectly straight bite.
I have been using Invisalign and love the difference it is making! I'm so glad I cam to Smileology, Santa Rosa Beach! They took the time to explain what it is and since I had metal braces, this was so much easier! I can't wait to see the end result!
