At Smileology™, we are proud to offer same day dental crowns using advanced CEREC technology. Our lab quality restorations are made here at our Crestview practice, so you don’t have to spend two weeks waiting for a new dental crown to be shipped in from an off-site facility. Made of porcelain, our CEREC crowns also last an average twice as long as non-CEREC crowns. Our dentists are all extensively trained and talented in restorative dentistry and excel at full mouth rehabilitation.
At Smileology™, we want to help each of our patients love their smiles. If you are ready to enjoy a bright, straight, white smile, dental veneers or Lumineers could be the option for you. Dental veneers are thin porcelain shells made to cover the front surfaces of your teeth. They are luminous and natural-looking, giving your teeth a healthy, uniform look. Lumineers are a gorgeous alternative to veneers. They are very thin and require little to no tooth preparation prior to placement. Dr. Shaaban will provide a thorough exam and advise which solution is perfect for you.
At Smileology™ in Crestview, in addition to our exceptional restorative and cosmetic procedures, we offer comprehensive dental services with the latest technology and equipment.
Professional Teeth Cleaning & Check-ups
Dental prophylaxis is a professional teeth cleaning procedure that thoroughly cleans the teeth. It is an important preventative measure to help stop the progression of gingivitis and periodontal disease. We recommend our orally healthy patients receive this type of procedure twice a year. At the same appointment, your dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums and jaw, as well as perform an oral cancer screening. These regular check-ups are essential in staying ahead of any health issues or concerns that may arise.
Extraction is a last resort, but sometimes it is necessary. Badly infected teeth can jeopardize the health of your entire mouth, including your healthy teeth and gum tissue. Fortunately, we can help!
Wisdom Teeth
The best time to have wisdom teeth removed is during a patient’s late teenage years or early 20s. These immature wisdom teeth are smaller, so surgery is less complicated and potentially less painful. If your wisdom teeth have not started to erupt, we will use x-ray imaging to locate them and determine if they need to be removed.
If you or your child is involved in any type of sport, wearing a custom fitted mouth guard is one of your best pieces of insurance. Not only does it protect teeth, it also reduces the risk of concussion.
TMJ Disorder Treatment
Experiencing jaw pain, headaches or facial soreness? Protect your smile against excessive wear caused by jaw clenching and grinding.
Fluoride Applications
Fluoride application can help remineralize weak areas of tooth enamel, keeping them resilient against bacteria and reducing your chance of developing cavities.
DIAGNOdent (Caries Detection)
Laser DIAGNOdent cavity detection pinpoints small areas of decay before they are visible during an exam or even on an x-ray. This state-of-the-art technology can mean the difference between a small filling and a more invasive dental procedure.
3D CT Scanning
3D CT scanning provides us with extremely accurate three-dimensional replicas of your oral anatomy, which prove especially useful when planning for dental implants, root canals, or wisdom teeth treatments.
Desensitizing Treatments for Sensitive Teeth
We use a special desensitizing gel that begins to works immediately. If you experience tooth pain and sensitivity to heat or cold, ask our Smileology™ dental team if a desensitizing treatment is the right choice for your smile.
